3000ME Forum / Gear lever disassembly

I have removed the gear-lever assembly from my car. I have pushed out the locating pin that passes through the white ‘nylon’ ball. I can slide the ball down which then exposes a metal collar Am I correct in assuming that the collar should slide up the gear-lever towards the gear knob?
If so, any idea how to get a stubborn one off?

I'm looking at ordering some more stainless steel lower water rails. These were offered about 18 months ago, so if you missed them then here is another chance!

Any idea where AC sourced their seats from or where I can get new seat foams from?

Has anyone got them fitted?
Any idea on carb set up as a starting point?
- main jets
- air correctors
- emulsion tubes
- idle jets
Any pictures of cable set up and choke?

Does anyone know the make/type of switches used for the lights?
Did they switch to Lucas toggle switches at any point?
