Sorry Leo for the confusion on your “ handle”! Hope you are doing well. Would love to have a conversation with you one day on your research if Buckland bodyworks.  Ayler you’d be willing to do a zoom call and we can catch up? Regardless hope you’re doing well!

Looks lovely. Ever have any luck on the gear shift knob?

Awesome Gary! My steering wheel is the typical bluemel’s type that’s marblised. Ive seen both the ivory and the brownish colours on the Buckland. Both have the gear shift pattern embossed it seems. Would be very grateful if you do come across one!!

I connected via email with the dealer and advised car was not a Buckland this past weekend. The response I got was just a link to more photos. Tom sounds like you’ve found the numbers so great. It’s an interesting car and i learned of its more rare livery and advised dealer that too. Again no response! While I’m partial to the Buckland it’s still a pretty car.

Leo hope you are doing well!!

Happy new year Gary. Interested to see the outcome of the disc brake conversion. Please keep us updated!

I heard one day it might catch on.......

I set up a Buckland appreciation page. About 50 members with connections to the cars. Good forum with people who respond! You might enjoy signing up just for that, link is here;

Please update us once brakes are done. I’ll copy info over to the Facebook page. Perhaps others will want to follow suit.

Sorry I had nothing to offer. Glad you sorted it out. We’re not the most interactive group are we?
