Thanks for the great pics.
Now could you ship me the car?

Sure would like some photos.
That outfit has several AC's but I can't find the pictures button.

I am looking forward to whatever pics and stories you want to share about this great new-to-you car.

Another beautiful AC.
It is hard to understand how it is considered just a fifth the value of the Scottsdale Ace.

In many ways, this is the perfect Ace.
I think it may be one of the last AC engined cars, especially LHD.  Also late for drum brakes.
It is right and beautiful in every aspect.
It is also a great price if you already have one, but discouraging if you don't.
Whoever paid for its restoration took a risk at $400,000, but it seems to have paid off.
Folks with a lot on money are making old sports cars a new enterprise altogether.

gtjoey:
Happy New Year and welcome to the forum.
I don't blame you for thinking you may have found the wrong place to discuss your new Aceca.  Two responses, both on board photo posting. :o
I'm not sure about the silence from members, especially Aceca owners.
I lost my Ace 40 years ago and have only known coupes through those of friends, but rest assured I will be following your progress.

Unless there were two possible blues, that is the color BEX 241 was new and when I got it in 1961.  My memory is that it was a just little darker.
I painted it two other colors later (red and BRG), but wish I had stayed with that one.
It was totally consumed by fire in 1992, but is shown here several years later with what seems a choice of hues:

Cargirl:
Actually, I expected an apology for your rude post above, not a justification.

This is a unique group of convivial, courteous and helpful folks who love AC's.

I think that if you are going to use it as a business platform, then you should be especially mindful of that.

Wow, Cargirl!
I said "some" things didn't look right to me, not "many."
I didn't complain that photos of number plates were missing, but that I found it curious that the numbers themselves were not mentioned.
I did not mention videos of the car except to say I would enjoy seeing them and then thanking you for posting them.
I have no intent to disparage this Ace and certainly no motive to do so.
I owned a 1957 for 30 years before losing it in a garage fire, now also nearly 30 years ago.  Forgive me for retaining an interest in them if not the wherewithal to purchase another one.
I find the hood scoop, nose guard, the dash color and the door-rear fender junction out of place to my eye.  I didn't notice the floor mats that bex316 mentions.
I have enjoyed your posts and sales offerings over the years and will try not to offend you in the future.

Thanks for posting those.  The driving video is the same as the walk around.
Some things don't look quite right on this Ace.

There are an amazing number of Aces on that carandclassic link, none that I found with the all-important numbers.  A bad trend.
I would really like find out how to view the videos of BEX340.

I am surprised not to see car and engine numbers with this post.

It's hardly broken in.
What a beauty.  Someone be sure to post follow ups so we know what happens to it.

Did you notice the cool page-turning feature in the catalog? Never seen it before.

Barn finds are one of the best things on Earth, even (or maybe especially) if you own the barn.
Your Ace has been neglected  after being well used but not apparently abused, leaving a very doable challenge.
I got my '57 Ace in 1961 and lost it to fire in 1992.
I envy you the memories and future.
