OOPS -

You are absolutely right it is shaunmatthews147@btinternet.com - apologies to anyone who has replied and got a bounce back - Doesn't exactly come across as professional does it? I believe it was Henry Ford who said 'The man who never makes a mistake never makes anything'

I'll blame an aberration because to being too busy and focussed - however my other half would say its age and fat fingers! - You can decide.   Anyway still looking for a couple more volunteers to answer the researcher's phone call

Cheers

Shaun

Amongst other classics, I'm an AC owner (The 1976 Motorshow ME prototype), an Engineer and have a passion to capture fast disappearing skills from ageing artisans and pass them onto the younger generation by way of apprenticeships and less formal training.

A team of us here in the East Mids have a well developed plot to put a heritage training academy into the current Rolls Royce Heritage Trust site in Derby (They are decamping to Sinfin). This will operate as a Not For Profit but needs a commercial company around it to pay the bills. - see www.greatnorthernclassics.co.uk.  Think of it as hybrid of Bicester Heritage and Classic Remise, there is a great 5 min film part way down the home page lurking behind Lord Baden Powells RR 20hp. . We're are on the cusp of finalising terms with Rolls Royce to take over the site and have commissioned an independent Market Research Company to undertake a Due Diligence report on behalf of our funders.

Because GDPR blocks traditional routes to find them,  I am trying to locate a handful of Midlands based classic car enthusiasts who are prepared to give up to 30 mins or so to be interviewed by the researcher some time in the next couple of weeks.  Purely voluntary, absolutely nothing in it for you other than doing a good thing and a wooly promise of a coffee and bacon sarnie in a couple of years if we pull it off. If you are prepared to help please let me know either via the contact page on the site or shaunmatthews147@btinternet.co.uk

Hi

I've just bought ME108 - the pre-prod prototype / Robin Rew development car. - It's been partially restored but still lots of boxes of bits, It is going back on the road complete in its turbo form- A few requests for help:-
    * Can someone please email photos of the sunroof from inside the car showing standard trim, seal  and latch/hinge arrangement
   *Ditto radio mounting
   * As many photo's from as many angles as possible of the engine bay of a turbo car
   * I'm missing one of the Rew modified Cosworth pistons - standard bore - I can copy the mods readily but any suggestions for a source of the missing piston (forging PM0209, engravedPA0376/1)
*if anyone in the Midlands has a turbo car that they would let me spend 30 mins crawling around I would be eternally grateful( I'm based near Ashby DeLa Zouch)

   Email shaunmatthews147@btinternet.com

   Thanks in advance  Shaun
