General Forum / AC 427 S/C Continuation

How would one identify a 427 S/C 'Continuation' car built by AC in the 1990s? Are there chassis numbers & engine numbers? I have heard that these cars where built with Ford 302 4v carburator engines?

   Whilst I have your attention, BEX333 was shipped out to Seattle in 1957. ( Wite Ace Bristol with red interior) was raced from 1957 to 1964, wore the licence number ARZ913, It was resprayed Red sometime during its racing life, and was possible maintained by Al Doyan who ran a Body and engine shop in Seattle / Washington 98004.

   If any one can through any light on early History of BEX333 it would be appreciated.

   The Checkered History on the Race track was substatiated by the number of Repairs found in the front and rear whilst carrying out numerous Repairs at Brooklands Motor Company over the past 8 years.

   The Black Body work looks a million $s.... I must agree with you John (Chobham Cobra) Cobras And Aces look there best in BLACK.

   Steve or Gerry are both very helpful and if they don't make them they can at least tell you where to go to get good quality items made. The problem is both of these companies are in the UK and the current UK/US exchange rate will work against you.

Thanks will try them. No luck with clubs here. Quality of tops I have seen not worth the money.
