Hi,
I'm writing a piece for Classic Cars magazine on the Aceca recently sold by Silverstone Auctions
https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/view/content/256830/full/1/256839
To my mind it looked like remarkably good value, but I wanted some opinion on the car from someone who knows Acecas, and this is apparently a car well known in club circles, so here I am.
If you can help out, please either message me or email russ.smith@gmx.com
Thanks.

I am not an Aceca person but the forum did pick up on the incorrect & missleading wording of the silverstone listing you posted-
"Engine No: 100 D2 813 Bristol D2 engine, the first Aceca fitted with the Bristol engine" as being wrong. (plenty of Bristol engined Acecas before this one).
It may be the first with this variant of engine (D2).
From a personal perspective the colour would put me off.
