Not very long ago I received a flier regarding  a book written about the first AC Cobras delivered to the US did not go to Shelby in California but New Jersey I think. Please provide me any information and the name of the book.

Two books come to mind:

The First Three Shelby Cobras by Gordon Bruce

Cobra Pilote, the Ed Hugus Story by Robert D. Walker

Both books detail the early history of Cobras in the US.

The book on Ed Hugus and the early Cobra days is excellent.

The book on Ed Hugus and the early Cobra days is excellent.

I second that, it's very good.  A little debunking in there, too.
