Refitting Differential. Just realized the top cradle bracket is different front and back and don't know what way to put it on.

   Can anyone help quick?

I have it on one way at the moment but no idea if thats correct.

Good question.  Just tried to see if it is visible with the diff in place and rapidly concluded that it is not.    Unless someone has definitive knowledge best suggestion I can make is to remove the bracket from the diff and offer it up to the chassis to see if there is an obvious way it should fit.  Presume it is asymmetrical in order to provide clearance to one of the other components?  Hope you find a solution.

I tried that - it clears both ways. I think the difference is positioning it in the cap - so I would love to get it on the right way!
   Anyone!!!!

So for anyone that comes back to this, it mounts the way round to bring the bush closest to the front of the car - so pushing the diff further back in the car. So actually the other way round from the picture I posted above. Thankfully I worked it out BEFORE trying to put it in the car...but thats still a bitch of a job....

Is that a crack in the weld heat affected zone or an illusion
