Does anyone have any images of a genuine and repro ID tag
   
   How does one spot a reproduction

The Cobra Register has confidential images of both period AC and aftermarket footbox i/d tags with differences listed (both visible and microscopic) and private unused AC and aftermarket tags in support. VIN/engine number stamping formats also provide useful information.
   
   An opinion can be given on any images provided the circumstances of the query are known and it is judged to be a bona fide enquiry.
