Back on the U.K. roads again, after a long period in the U.S., here is the old works demonstrator CF7. A great pleasure to see such a gorgeous car and the icing on the cake is DVLA agreeing with the A.C.O.C. that she should have her old registration mark returned. A great credit to her new owner as the shipping, customs, recommissioning and the retrieving of the old registration was far from simple.

We are coming towards the end of the summer now, but perhaps CF7 will see some gentle shakedown exercise before it gets colder, darker and wetter.

Very nice! I saw this car at the Carmel Concours on the Avenue in August 2012.

Gorgeous car, do anybody nows the color code ?
I think this is the right color for my car.

Absolutely Stunning! I am really looking forward to seeing it for real. Congratulations Richard, you must be thrilled. Andy.

PS Silver on Black number plates would look more traditional.

Richard Campbell has asked me to respond as he seems to be locked out of the Forum and the Member's Area at the moment. This is the message he wishes to post:
"First thanks for all the messages. With regard to Andy’s note on the colour of the plates, they were white/yellow on the car when tested in 1968 but I intend to try both those and black and silver. The colour is a little tricky. The build sheet says 7A 31-9 and refers to it as Live Oak. I am assuming the reference number is indeed a paint code. The problem is we have not been able to confirm what colour the American restoration applied, so there could be a significant difference."

Then there was....[:D]
