1982 ME3000 Chassis number ME301R90000129
According to the auction catalogue the car is unique in having been actively involved in both eras of the ME story. Originally it was the Thames Ditton factory demonstrator and subsequently it went to Scotland and along the way having the Ford power plant replaced with an Alfa V6.

Does anyone know where this unique car is now? There are many interesting questions about the engineering of the Alfa engine and other components which remain unanswered.

Hi John,
The car was bought by someone at H&H post-auction in Derby in 2014.
It is now entered (with a much higher estimate) in their Duxford Sale on 21st March 2018
