Title: AC Ace up for Auction at Monterey

Just saw this Ace coming up for auction:

Heavily modified, RHD, and the number they list (AE901680) of course doesn't make sense. Anyone recognize this car?

It appears to be the same car as in this older video. At the time it was at Classic Car Center of Fredericksburg VA.

The ID plate says AE 90.
