Title: Aceca battery tray
Post by: MLeitao on April 17, 2021, 22:45:20
Hello all,
In my Aceca, battery in the trunk/boot.
Does anyone have a picture of the battery tray, in the original location?
For what I have read, it was near the brake/clutch.
Thanks
Manuel

This is the location of the battery box on an Ace.......I am unsure if it is the same on the Aceca....if it is then this photo should help.

Hi Manuel.
I've attached a photo which should help, this is on a 1960 Aceca Bristol, the photo is taken from under the car and you can just about make out the battery terminal, behind the n/s/f wheel area. This is an original UK right hand drive car, not sure if a left hand drive would be a different location?? or if the AC engine version would be different?? Hope this helps a bit .
Regards

Nick

On LHD cars it is on the same left side which is not ideal as the steering shaft above is in the way. You have to lower and lift the battery across it.
