Title: Where do I get these from?

Hi.

My ACE has the tubular bumpers. The front one has a few dings in it and I was wondering if there are off the shelf replacements out there?
If so where do I find them?

I am also after a new flat windscreen. Any pointers on that? Do I go to Pilkington?

The rubber cover strip that fits in the lower windscreen to body - where can one get the seal from?

Also looking for an ACE gearstick. What other cars used this stick?

Lastly, how do you find the spares list in the members section? If been looking around and can't locate it:-).

The Spares List is under Members' Area -> Model Directory -> Spares (bottom of the drop down).

Brasscraft should be able to supply flat & curved windscreens also the rubber insert etc, '  info@brasscraft.co.uk  '
Richard Hudson might be able to assist with gear sticks for the Moss Box!

Regards: Twin Tubular bumpers,   Advertise in Action,  original ones do turn up,  Caution,  Front and rear are different length. ;)
One or two batches of Stainless Steel twin tube bumper sets  have been available in the past.

Thank you all.

Chris Glover does have the rubbers.

He says he as 12 different sizes of glass so dories not make them for a screen surround that his not his.

My next plan off attack on this is Pilkington Glass. They are not too far from me.

I have a tube bending friendly who says my bumper might be repairable so I will investigate. Quick research has proved they are impossible to get hold of so a fabrication solution looks best.

Thanks Keith for the info on AC Action as a spares source.

I've found the spares section on the website at long last.

Now I need a slave cylinder and push rod:-)

I have 2 good leads now. Luke who has a heated screen available and Pilkington who charge £135 for the flat screens and work from a paper template.

I got the gearstick from Tony Jackson so super pleased about that.

Brian Eacott has sorted me with a new Girling Slave Cylinder and I am fabricating the plunger and stay rod. (I'll be making a set of 2 if anyone else needs one?)

So all I need now is the activating arm for the gearbox that the salve cylinder plunger actuates:-) If anyone has one:-)?

I know Charlie Gray well as I work with his sister:-) Thank you all for the help so far.

Would the arm you need for clutch actuation be the same, or similar to, the one used on a TR2/3 ? It does use a yoke and pin rather than a ball joint, but that was a change that A.C. made themselves when going to the lightweight gearbox and so far as I can see there is no reason why one could not interchange the two types:

It might be worth having a word with Rod Briggs as I think he had the same problem recently

Not sure.

I am fabricating the slave plunger. The arm is a bolt on arm. So looking at options.

The part you have highlighted has the arm attached to the rod but mine is separate.

I'll take some pictures and post them here for clarification.
