So classic cars have to be banned on the basis they won’t be able to communicate with autonomous vehicles? Well, in 2017 there were 37.5 million registered cars on the road in the UK. Of that number just 2.54 million were cars registered in 2017. That’s 6.7% of the total. So by the same argument, it’s not just classic cars that will need banning because they can’t communicate with autonomous vehicles, it’s the other 93.3%, or 34.96 million cars already on the road.
I bet there’s not a minister in the cabinet who has any in depth knowledge of autonomous car design, the limitations and dangers. Remember these the same gullible incompetents who told us to buy diesels.......
