Not to mention this claim:

   UNMOLESTED ALL ORIGINAL....

   Really?  Sorry just a bunch red flags.  The least of which is the lack of the ability to spell check.

Try Jack Farland in Denver CO.  Farland Restorations.  He has experience restoring ACs'. I know its far but he is very good and might be able to get you in.
    Also sent a text to a guy that has spare parts in Texas to see if he has a door.  Will let you know.

Oh my. That is gut wrenching. Good luck with the repairs.  I've heard good things about Mullin Restoration.

I had a potential buyer pass on this AC Bristol because he does not have time for a project.  I just want to be clear with this car.. it is not a project.  It is a gorgeous, fully restored AC Bristol.  It has a Ford engine.

   This is a car you can put on the street tomorrow and drive for many years to come.  If someday you decide to put the correct engine in it it is not going to increase the value of the car all that much - or the performance of the car.

   So this is not a project.  It's just an awesome car.  Priced right and waiting for its next happy owner.

That is correct.  $435,000.00  Did I mention there is a reasonably priced AC Bristol with a Ford engine right on this very site?[:)]

Sorry I dropped the ball on this one but I will look everything over again and see if we can't come up with something.

Bill Wonder came to our AC event at the Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia last week.  Peter Rohrbacher was instrumental in putting the show together (along with Dave Hutchinson of Ragtops and Roadsters).  Pete owns BEX 308 - another Bill Wonder car.  Bill is 93 now but he gave a great talk about racing in the old days.  Knowing he had a weakness for ice cream I made sure there was some available at the end of the event.  Needless to say we became fast friends.  I went to visit him at his amazing shop and it was a wonderful five hours filled with cars and stories about drivers.
   At 93 he is in no hurry to settle down and relax.
   If anyone has specific questions like the one above you can send them to me directly and I can search for the answers in our vast and ever growing research center at the Simeone.  I may have a lead on Linda Scott.  Will update the forum if I have any success.

Understood.  Thanks.  Will keep searching.  We have wonderful archives at the Simeone Museum.  Hopefully I will find something there.

@BEX 298

   I have been trying to research the history of the car.  All the present owner knows is that he had heard about it for awhile, finally tracked it down in a barn in Independence Missouri and cannot remember the name of the person he bought the car from.  That was in 2001.  Pictures of the car can be seen here as a barnfind.

   Can you tell me when Ron Leonard had the car?  I can give him a call but I would have to jog his memory.  Any information would be very helpful.

Ok.  Ok Man Back Off! But I agree.  This is the perfect car for someone that has a spare 100D laying around.  It really is a sweet car.  Needs a few things though to bring it back to original specs.  Parts that I can help a new owner find...
