Looks like the car comes with a hard top - did AC ever produce hard tops for the Ace? Or is this an aftermarket one? Almost looks like a top for an SP250.

A picture in Rinsey Mills Book - AC 6 Cylinder Sports Cars shows an Ace with a hardtop on the stand at The Earls Court Motorshow in 1961. Attached, some pictures of BE1199 with a similar looking hardtop.

Nice car.
Looks like the A arms have been welded/modified/extended. May be to modify the camber?
