emmanuel I'll aim to shoot some photos of the pipe run - somehow looks a little scary having all these clear petrol pipes running around - but nothing's caught fire for 40 years so I guess all's well.
Maddox - As to the colour - I have the old green registration book - probably not the original as the first entry appears to be a change from THA 854G to SC D21 in 1972 then to YPF409G in the Exeter (UK) region in 1973. in 73 the colour is marked as white but crossed through and written in as blue, so who knows for sure.... however I note the similarity of colour to CF16 and CF75? on the Pietro Frua website and 4 years after purchase the odds are good that it would have been still maintained by AC. I would love to have the paint code/info as the can of spray that came with the car is sadly different and shows up under 40mph (so I never slow down[
])
Someone somewhere must have the factory records however it seems that extracting info from the club is a slow but ultimately productive process- however not endeared to email or even the telephone....this being a club run by enthusiasts rather than employees.
