On the Saturday morning courtesy of XM655 Maintenance and Preservation Society, I have been able to organise a visit to the Avro Vulcan XM655 which lives at Wellesbourne Airfield .  As well as general information about Vulcans and their history, there will; be a comprehensive description about XM655 with systems demonstrations and almost certainly a cockpit tour. If time and airfield conditions permit, there may be a possibility of a photoshoot  of cars in front of the Vulcan.  Refreshments will be available. There will be a charge of £10 pp to help the maintenance funds. Now that Christmas and the New Year celebrations are over and we are all looking forward to the coming season and perhaps starting to plan the mortoring calendar, may I take this opportunity to remind members who are thinking of joining in the ACOC 2016 International, that the closing date for entries is the last week in March.   This is because Tour Espana have to confirm with Brittany Ferries and also the Paradores, how many of the reserved cabins/rooms are required.
   
   The event offers the chance of motoring on roads with light traffic in a different area of Northern Spain to that visited on the 2011 tour, and if the combined event is chosen, then there is even more enjoyment to be had.
