Many years ago Tom Gibbon bought what was probably the last AC lightweight gear box from the stores at Thames Ditton. He fitted a TR3 overdrive to this and put it into his Ace. Tom is no longer with us but the creent owner of his old car might let you a]have a look at the instalation. Tom Ace is AE107 which should be tracable through the Ace Register.
