I also spotted in a corner a dark red Ace Bristol apparently fitted a 289 V8 engine, BEX 235.

what about these rear wheels on CSX2075? Are they period? Cannot understand what the nuts do there? 2 eared spinner indicates splined hub.

he was one of my heroes too, racing Lotuses (sports, formula and Indy), Cobras (289 & Daytona Coupé), GT40's and derivatives, Eagles ...... and a whole list of other famous makes and had the luck to survive the cruel '60ies and '70ies motor sport years!
A great driver and a great man.
The third picture shows Dan with codriver Bob Bondurant and the Cobra Daytona Coupé chassis CSX2299 they raced at Le Mans 24 hours on June 20-21, 1964, finishing an excellent 4th place overall and winning the GT class.

1. Hot running, I am sure I read a post about our cars running typically at the top of the temperature gauge. Mine runs between 95 - 100, has anyone come up with away to solve the hot running?

David, I assume you talk about the gauge as read?
I do have the same issue on my MkIV Cobra: reading is constantly close to the 100°, but when checking temp with a heat gun at engine exit to radiator, it is generally around 88°.
