Interesting but I thought all Ace hardtops were fibreglass, not steel?
And how about the shape of the rear window aperture? It does not look familiar to me.

Jerry.

I too, were only aware of Official AC hardtops in Fibreglass, with two variations to rear window style and available for both Flat screen and Curved screen.

The side screens look a piece of art, too  BLING, upmarket and modern for a Ace or Cobra, Which is a true basic and functional British Sports Car.

For those who really must have a hardtop, Steve Gray of AC Heritage will hand build a Aluminium hard top tailored to fit your car for less than £3000.(inc vat)
Complete with correct side screens and a rear screen[:)]

Gerry Hawkridge produces a Fibre glass hard top which needs little dressing prior to painting and fitting,With a bonus that you would have a couple of thousand pound change. [;)]
