Title: Aceca Restore ?
Post by: tim stanley on June 26, 2007, 23:19:32
Has anyone here used a restoration company / "man who can" for a complete rebuild? If so what is likely cost for a basic job (not concours)?
My '57 AC Aceca was used for 25 yrs, but has been in a barn for the last 25 ! It will need a complete stripdown, which is more than I can manage on my own.
If anyone can recommend a restorer who charges reasonable rates, then maybe she'll be rejuvenated - otherwise there'll be a few spares available for the club vultures to pick over !![:(]

Tim,

Ok, I have just been through a full restore. May be easier to discuss on phone, what is you location. Give me a shout at john_abel289@hotmail.com.

   Thanks

   John.

Tim,
