Is anyone either making a replacement for the original Bristol Oil Pumps or is there an ealily adaptable alternative. Someone suggested adapting a Triumph TR 3 Pump?

Am told that Triumph TR 3 oil pump gears (which are taller, but almost identical in every other way) will fit. Because of the height of the gears a new cover will have to be made for the Bristol Pump.

I've no doubt someone more knowledgeable than me will respond, but new high capacity oil pumps are available for Bristol engines. I'm sure any of the UK specialists can help.

Have you tried contacting Bristol? They say on thier website that they will work on anything that they're produced...well they produced that engine.
