Title: Water Temperature - 428 Frua
Post by: cf24 on July 24, 2008, 12:45:13
Not being very mechanically minded , I hope that somebody can help .

428 Frua handbook spec seems to suggest that the low temperature stat is not fully open till 85 degrees and the high temp stat at 100 degrees.

Does this mean that the designed operating temperature is circla 85 degrees and is that the level at which the electric fan should cut in?

Hi, it means that normal water temp should be between 85 and 90 degrees! more importantly, temperature should be steady! if you see big fluctuations, I would have the radiator and thermostat serviced!

to answer the 2nd part of the question, the fan will kick on at the temperature it's termostat is set for. Emmanuald can probably advise on temp and location of that sensor
