Hello all, Everybody can be a little smarter today. From what I have found out about metric wire sizes is 28/.3 is 28 strands x .3mm dia. I.E. the (28), (44) and (65) represent wiring size for amperage on the wiring diagram. American sizing goes by gauge. I.E. 14ga, 16ga, 18ga, 22ga Dan

Thanks Mark IV. I also want to add that the correct car will probably be a car shipped initially only to the USA market because of the Federal standards required to get them into the USA. I could be wrong, only going off what I have learned so far. I would also be interested in flying to anyone in the US that has the proper car and I can take my own pictures and put my eyes on the engine bay. I am also trying to find a set of smog/air pump brackets to mount it on the top left hand side of the front of the engine. Thanks, Dan

Hello all, The wiring diagram that is in the owners handbook has wire color, what component it goes to and also some have a number in parentheses. Does anyone know what that number represents. Thanks, Dan

Hello all, I have been for over a year now collecting parts and searching for literature to return 1174 back to its original configuration, I.E. Intake, Carb, Smog pump, Air cleaner and all other smog and fuel emissions valves and solenoids so car can get registered and plated. What I need from someone with an 85 or 86 carbureted model is detailed pictures of the engine bay. I have so many question that I should probably save them for someone that is willing to help me. Please contact me thru my E-mail. Thanks,Dan
