An Aceca I used to own RS5506 is currently for sale at Cotswold Collectors Cars, I think there are some engine bay pics. on the website. The exhaust manifold was a simple tubular affair & the inlet manifold was usually by Barwell/Aquaplane.

Which gearbox, handbrake set up & fuel filler position do you have on your car?
I may be able to help with old items to use as a template but they will be quite bulky to ship!

Gosh those engine pics. look a bit grim! I have the remains of a couple 206e engines around the workshop after a number of Aceca projects & a few new spares in boxes eg a new old stock set of conrods, oil filter adaptor for canister filters etc. Let me know if I can help.
The engine itself is very basic in design & judging by the quality of the work you have achieved so far you should have no problem rebuilding one yourself.

Seems to be a lot of agonising regarding a non factory feature on the Aceca but was added by individual owners over the years, see Autosport 12/1/62. Do your own thing, old tyre inner tubes seem popular!

Hi James, I have a couple of sets of second hand 16'' wheels from various ace/aceca if you are still looking. Email me for further info. Good luck with your project.
