Best place to sell a Cobra Steering Wheel?
« on: February 20, 2007, 11:13:56 »
Hi All, I have a TVR Griffith 200 that alos had the same Motolta Steering wheel as the Cobra when new.  I have a new one wheel from Moto-lita that came with my car (all in bits) but I am rebuilding as a full FIA racer.

Sorry if no supposed to post ads on here - but where could I properly advertise this?

It is this wheel http://www.moto-lita.com/our-products/Wheel_Details_01.aspx?WH_ID=26 no boss kit - you woul have to get via Moto lita - 14" (want £90) £130.50 on the site.

Seriously, I`d suggest eBay, couple of nice pics of your wheel, not lifted from the Moto Lita website, and an accurate description including wheel diameter. It`ll sell.

Yes, John's pub is the Barley Mow at West Horsley http://www.barleymowathorsley.info/ I was there last Sunday after the PH meeting. I think John has now sold his Cobras and bought TRs. The Surrey ACOC meet on the third Sunday of each month, you should come along one month, we're a friendly bunch.
   John.

Yep that is the one I took the measurements off at his when thinking of copying his cage (but doubling it up for the Chimvette).

I'd have raced it for him in a Heart Beat - and done well in it.
