Thats approx. £114,000 in old money.
   
   Rumour has it that 'a middle eastern gentleman'is buying up every 428 that he can get his hands on. A UK auctioneer told me something along those lines as did a restorer who knew of at least two being rebuilt for the same gentleman.
   
   Maybe the club should start an Abu Dhabi chapter???

Looks a very clean car. Interesting that the June '69 reg is YPF428G my CF25 is a Nov 1968 reg as YPF409G.

The other known 428 racer is that of Tony Valenti. Perhaps not as radically developed as Andys. Classic Cars magazine listed the following info;
   
   Lightweight panels, air dam, splitter, rear wing and rear plexi glass panels.
   Blueprinted Knight Racing 428 engine with TRW pistons, Corello rods, Edelbrock 427 heads, racing cam, Holley 750 carb, blueprinted C^ auto box.
   Stiffened suspension, 17in Hallibrand pegs drives.
   
   0-100 9.5
   0-60 4.4
   
   Regularly raced and used as an everyday road car!

Emanuel your boot is exactly as mine is but for the fact at yours is now plush leather trimmed carpet whilst mine is the original black vinyl trimmed corded thin black carpet. Same flap hanging to cover the tank, same two panels for spare and battery and same wells to each side.
