   Trevor,
I should have took heed. The weekend was long and the name "leadfoot Bagshaw" is very apt indeed. Remind me never to let Nik give chase, when a certain Mr. Bird goes tearing-off in his AC Coupe, down a long, fast, twisting road! My nerves are still shot to pieces [:I]

This being the first Cobra Drivers Club event, we were blessed with fantastic sunny weather. This is me at the finish [:)]
We now plan to run this as an annual event, so watch out for more details coming soon for your 2014 diary.

Looks like the timing of this event couldn`t have been better...if it had been last weekend it would have been VERY DIFFERENT!

Aaron, I think you're spot on! I've never known the car get through so much fuel, so quickly ;)

Hey Nik,

It was worth every penny :)

But, I think you should lend a hand in the landslide clean-up operation.

Indeed it was. I wouldn`t change a second of the whole weekend....
Well, maybe a cleaner negotiation of the hairpin!!!
   Now, pass me that shovel.

Who put those cones there???? At least I got most of the way around it, unlike those long skidmarks heading for the precipice!

The cones mark the old R&BT road, with the other new bit behind the cones for lorries/buses who cant manage the hairpin on the regular road if a convoy has to run up there.
