Sure would like some photos.
That outfit has several AC's but I can't find the pictures button.
-
I was able to save the pictures on the Henderson Fellowes website of Tony Bancrofts car.
Surely Nik Bagshaw can add some interesting info as his father was one of its former owners.

Indeed, here are the original threads I wrote about 5 BPG!

I can’t believe it’s for sale; sadly, just like the Cobra, it will be forever out of reach to me! :-[

Oh Nik, don't be negative. You never know you could win the lottery this weekend then I guarantee the car would be in your garage come the following weekend. BUT if you don't win the lottery and I do I'll buy it for you!

It seems to me that it is more convenient when all the announcements are in one topic

It will be interesting to see what this project sells for relative to “the mortal remains” of RS 5032 which sold recently in the U.K. The Ford engined Ace is much rarer and had its original engine but there seems to be more of this one.

That is quite a bit of negative camber on both the front and rear axles, isn't it?
The fuel supply pipe to the carbs should be on the LHS, the steering wheel is awful, the water temp gauge is SW rather than Smiths, the gear lever knob is wrong, no extension on the oil fill up rocker cover, no glovebox lid, and there is just something bizarre with how front wheels look, like the proportions on the front wings are off, or is this just a ride height issue?

Coming soon. You can negotiate and buy it before the auction.
My practice shows that usually before the auction, the owners ask for less than they get at the auction later.

I note the following comment on the Anglia auction site. “ We have chosen not to publish our results. Please contact us directly for any enquiries.”
I find this most odd!
Anyone happen to know what region of prices the AC’s went for?
-
If you go into the anglia auction website, and click on the auction catalogue it will give sold price which includes commission.
-
Thank you, those results look impressive!
-
I have watched and recorded the bidding live today on the Aceca and both Aces. When bidding started at 90K on the Ace-Bristol I wondered where it was going to!
