Just a short message to let people know about the booking charges levied by the organising company of the Silverstone Classic event later this year. Tried to book my tickets, via phone, for the event at the advertised price of £80 only to be told the total was another £8.40 on top, their fees! Felt this was a little steep. But was told they could charge what they wanted..make your own mind up about that one

I would be happy if Silverstone were getting this extra money and I would be more inclined to pay it. Unfortunatly I have been informed by Silverstone staff the whole Classic event is managed by a seperate company and they get all the money, not the Circuit.

There were special offers for the Silverstone Classic a couple of months ago, I bought two weekend tickets for £52.00 each, not bad for three days racing.
