Title: Greyhound BXF2547
Post by: jharris58 on July 14, 2021, 14:55:00
The restoration of this car is beginning.  Any information on its history would be appreciated.  The car has been stored in a barn in the US (North Carolina) for the past 40 years or so.  It is red and has its original engine (although the engine number is 5188 which disagrees with the registry).  As luck would have it the barn didn't leak so the car is very well preserved and solid.  Thanks.

Looks like your car in this episode of Hagerty’s Barn Find Hunter in 2016. How many red AC Greyhounds could there be found in a barn in North Carolina? It looks like it was a REAL barn find! There’s a bit of history in the clip. Perhaps you already have this info…if not, you could try to contact the show via the web to get more specific information from the host (Tom Cotter).

Good luck with the restoration!
