I had an invite to a small classic car show in Knarsborough last Sunday. It has been running for three or four years now (barring last year due to Covid). It is held in the parkland adjacent to St. John’s church and is a fund raiser for the choir. The organisers are loosely termed as the Leeds Legal classic car enthusiasts, with a lot of members coming from one firm in particular with friends and relations. Roughly fourty to fifty cars turn up of various types. It’s a lovely little gathering with friendly people and a genuine interest in cars.
You may be pleased to know that the AC received the joint unofficial award for best in show along with a Bugatti type 57.
It is just good to be out and about again enjoying car gatherings. I am looking forward to going to Newby Hall in Ripon next Sunday the 18th.
