Steering column vertical adjustment
« on: November 07, 2022, 01:15:06 »
Hello!
in order to adjust the steering colum, it is sufficient to slaken only the bolt on the braket behind the dash panel or as well the bolts connecting the steering box to the frame?
Thanks!
Eddie

it is necessary as well to lose the 3 bolts that hold the stering box to the frame otherwise the column doesn't move.

Hi Eddie,
Sorry I haven't got a definitive answer for you, but it would seem logical to me that to get the maximum amount of adjustment without putting an excessive amount of stress on the column you may also need to loosen the lower mounting bolts.
Hope this helps a bit.
Regards.
Nick
