The late Dr Holmes-Pickering's 16/90 will be offered at Bonham's sale next weekend:

I was thinking it was reasonably priced for what it was on paper. I don't know what the DuPont 16/80 sold for privately but believe it was offered at £180k.

Does any one know Bonhams fee's in this price range? I looked at the Bonham's fees for sellers & buyers and I could not find any specific % but assuming say 10% for buyers & sellers that puts the cars spread at £126k (to seller) and £154k to the buyer with the £28k difference potentially going to the auctioneer.

I suspect it will be less than 10% on the Fangio W196 that sold for £17m then!!! WOW.
