Gentlemen just wanted to let you know that CF 64 sold for AUD 180,000 to a buyer in the Middle East, we believe the car is going to Kuwait but we await delivery details.
I will of course suggest that the buyer joins the AC Car Club or at least tunes into the Forum.

Thank you for the compliments, as I do not drive the car and I certainly do not want it to be a museum exhibit I want to sell it to someone who will appreciate and use the car.
As regards the bits and pieces I have I will take a few photos and attempt to post them here or e-mail them to anyone that is interested.

Hi JJ,
Raising the hump by 1/2 an inch did not seem to make that much difference, I believe that there is a dead air spot over the engine. I was going to try and put air deflectors under the radiator to get air up into the engine bay or a front spoiler but as you may be aware ground clearance can be an issue. What we eventually did was to louvre the bonnet which was not a major issue as the new bonnet is aluminium and that did make a difference.
   Cheers

Hi Cliff,

We have looked at rebuilding the valve but it is completely corroded, hence my question does anyone know the origin of the darn thing ???

For the time being we have bypassed it completely as we have to get a wheel alignment and then the car is being tuned today. We are then looking at getting it transported down here in the near future, I will go up to Ballina and collect all of the bits and pieces like wheels , spare doors, various manifolds etc.

Will post a photo when it is all done.

Hi Clifford,

Hold the phone as I am waiting for some photos of the area that is the mystery i.e. some vents in the foot wells. They do not appear to be conected to anything and would let in water in rain. I am seperated from my car by a considerable distance so have to wait for clarification.

I will be in the UK briefly at the begining of November around the Farnham Common/Gerrards Cross area.

   Cheers

For those of you who have been riveted to this thread I am happy to report that I now have a pair of new old stock washher nozzles complete with rubber backing and stainless screws.

These were supplied by Dave Sanderson ex UK, a gentleman to deal with as he sent them without security of payment, I have of course settled with him.

Many thanks to those of you who helped in this exercise.

   Cheers

   Peter
