Nice to hear you own   Ace AE89 The  official ACOC registrar for AC  engined Ace is Tim Isles,  not Tony Bancroft.

   Tims email address :-  tim_isles@hotmail.com

AE89  (08/09/1955) has racing history and was owned originally by
C R Leigh-Jones, then by C Richardson. Left Thames Ditton as a Green car with Grey interior , then repainted Red with Black interior and wore the English registration number WKX3.

Can you Please email pictures of AE89 especially Period racing ones from the 1950s/1960s thats if you have any, or various ones since you have owned it,  Please email to both Tim Isles and myself.

Keith.lessiter@faac.co.uk     and we will post on the Forum.

Thank you for posting the photo of WKX3 racing. The car remains much like the colour photos excepting that was shifted to left hand drive.

Hi there,

My father owned this car in the UK until about 1986. During the time that he owned it, the car was painted a gunmetal grey, and (from memory) had a red interior. It was restored after he sold it, and appeared (as I expect you know) on the cover of Classic Car in 1988.
I would love to see some more photos of it from before he owned it, and I'd be very happy to post some photos of it from when he had it, if they would be of interest?
It's great to know that the car is still being enjoyed!

   Cheers,
