Grommets or no Grommets
« on: September 17, 2018, 06:36:32 »
Just a quick question as to whether there should be rubber grommets on the bodywork both front and back where the overrider bracket bolts go through the bodywork to join the chassis.
Many thanks for any feedback.

What ever happened with this initiative? I would like an original tool roll/bag for my Ace, and know of several others looking for one. Is it possible to air least get the dimensions and pictures of an original bag so they can be reproduced.

I think you may have posted in the wrong thread...????
Any thoughts on those grommets anyway ......?????
If you have an Ace please look at your car and think about posting a reply......??????
It seems that there are very few people who are prepared to offer information.
PS Thanks Tim and Keith

Yes, grommets are fitted to the rear holes around the aluminium spacer tubes. At the front there is no space to fit any grommets, as the overrider brackets are mounted directly against the body.
