Hello,
This looks beautiful. Does anyone know of this car?
Is there any club member in or near Houston who would conduct an inspection on my behalf?
Regards,
Joe

Okay for use in Europe, but If you intend importing to the UK you will pay 30% duty and VAT. That will make it almost £80k OTR. You can buy an original RHD for that. Also, at this price level on E Bay, why would anyone say 'not perfect' and not explain the defects?
Looks lovely though!

This didn't sell at Brooklands yesterday

Looked mint and only 15,000 miles
Bidding reached £60k but didn't meet reserve and auctioneer didn't even accept a provisional bid (not sure if these were real bids up to £60k)

£60k does seem a bit short of where the market is for a decent car, as Mike hints at above. Did you happen to see what the Light Blue Aceca did?
-
Car auctions only reflect the value of a particular car amongst those people present, on that particular day. Also, it's quite possible that many prospective MK IV owners would never buy from auction, in any case. Therefore this result can't be taken as a barometer of real-life value or demand.

Aceca didn't sell either
