I am looking for an original Oil temperature gauge for a Bristol engined Ace.
   I am not so keen on a modern unit and wondered if anybody has one that they would be willing to part with. Anything restorable would also be perfect.

Mk IV, Superblower, CRS and other Continuation Cars Forum / Engine numbers

I see on my V5 the engine number for my AC cobra mkiv (AK1161) is 1161.
   This is obviously a number given by the factory and not a Ford numbering.
   Does anybody know where I can find the engine number as having looked around the block i cannot find anything.

I have a 1987 Mkiv AK1161 and need to get brake pads all round . Please can anyone tell me what they should be and where I can get them.........any pattern/part numbers appreciated.

I am about to embark on a light restoration of AEX443 and am missing an original radiator grill. I wondered if anybody has one they would be prepared to part with. I would prefer an aluminium one over brass bur beggars can't be choosers.

Mk IV, Superblower, CRS and other Continuation Cars Forum / MkIV front wheel bearings

Hi to all,
   I have a rumble on both sides at the front of AK1161 and am sure it is the wheel bearings.
   Any idea if I can adjust them or is it easier just to replace them........if so does anyone have a reference where i can buy them and a part number.

I would like to  return the currently chromed wire wheels on an AC Ace to being silver painted.
   Has anybody any suggestions as to the best way to do this and is powder coating a good or bad option............does anyone know the colour code for the silver paint.

I am looking to redial both my speedo and tachometer  on an AC Bristol as they have been disfigured by someone........can anybody please point me in the right direction.
   Alternatively are there any spare units out there for sale.
