The kind that comes in 750 ML bottles?

I doubt Pirelli is any too pleased with the "Goodyears" on that! Is the white letters the option tire?

   Oh TL, you witty raconteur!

Are you not supposed to be writing a book or some such? How do you have time for our witty repartee here?

Mk IV, Superblower, CRS and other Continuation Cars Forum / colour combo
« on: September 15, 2014, 13:01:36 »
FF, the black could be any type. We sold solid black cars, black metallic cars with Mercedes black, BMW black, etc. Autokraft would supply any color requested.

BTW Jim B. was here to visit and misses the "redhead" but I gave him a turn behind the wheel of the GT40 and that helped his regret!

Car was in Western New York until recently, then to Florida.

Sold this new. It has had more than one owner, they just have not titled it so it appears to be a one owner car.

Has bee through an suction this past January and has been trolling on eBay since then.

This car had shipping damage when delivered to us.

Cobra (Thames Ditton) Forum / Cobra Barn Find?

Sure doe look like a MK IV skin. Note the wipers are two of the three used on the MK IV and there is an apparent "hole" where the third wiper pivot would have resided.

So this begs the question....what MK IV is no longer extant?

"Doris Legate"? Is she a looker?

54
I have one lightly used rear on hand.

55
That logo is on the first business card I have from Brian Angliss................

56
Sadly we have no idea what Autokraft used for hoses. A trip to the local NAPA and perusing the hode book should provide some suspects.

MKIV...want to explain Brian and Ford engines to clear this up?

Autokraft was effectively one year behind in engines as supplied by Ford. Whereas the 5.0 went to fuel injection in the Mustang for 1986 Autokraft continued to use the on hand carbureted engines. When the EFI stock arrived they continued to build carbs with the first of the EFI units mixed in. There is no "changeover" point and there are carb'ed cars with VINs higher than some EFI cars.

   You had to be there.....
