Please note that this is an AC Cars made Invalid Carriage. Many thousands were made under Government contract between 1948 and 1978, and they were the Company's main income stream throughout that period. The AC Petite was quite different. Also a three-wheeler, a few hundred were made in the mid 1950s for private purchase.

Quite correct, I think you missed my point though. I was merely highlighting the fact that this car is road legal by the fact that it is registered as an AC Petite - hence my quote marks around the name Petite.
